About Dr. James V. Macri, DDS, MSD

Dr. Macri graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master of Science Degree in Zoology. After teaching four years at North Central High School in Indianapolis, he entered Indiana University to pursue a career in dentistry.

Dr. Macri graduated with distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry and was elected to Omicron Kappa Epsilon honorary fraternity. He received his graduate degree and second masters degree in the specialty of Orthodontics. In 1988, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In 2005, Dr. Macri became a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Dr. Macri is also an instructor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in the Oral and Maxillofacial Development Department of Orthodontics.

Originally from South Bend, he and his wife Sandy have two sons. Dr. Macri regularly attends numerous advanced courses in temporomandibular joint disease and treatment, orthognathic surgery, biomechanical techniques and many orthodontic related lectures.
